There is no such thing as away.

When you throw something away, it must go somewhere.

Why should you care
about your packaging?

We can’t afford to keep digging up fossil resources and releasing more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. We know that the earth’s resources aren’t infinite therefore we need to reuse them as best we can.

At our present consumption rate, by 2030 we will need two planets to meet both our resource needs and absorb societies waste.

Compostables:

The key to recycling everything

Vegware products are designed for composting – capturing food waste that would otherwise be lost from the system.

Benefits of composting food packaging

When food packaging, like wrappers or containers, has food left on it, it makes recycling harder. This is because food can stick to other items in the recycling bin, making them harder to reuse.

But compostable packaging and leftover food can break down together naturally. When we put both in the same bin, it helps reduce general waste and keeps the recycling cleaner for other items.

Benefits of using compost

Compost is used in agriculture, horticulture, and landscaping to nourish soil and improve its structure to help grow healthy plants. It sequesters carbon and can also help reduce the risk of floods.
